The PACScomm product line is a family of high performance, low cost systems that are used to record images from any modality or PACs system onto CDs or DVDs.  Key features include:

Web-Based All image storage/distribution and administrative functions can be accessed from any approved network workstation.
Integrated Design Powerful PC server, image storage and robotics are integrated into single compact unit designed for diagnostic imaging.
Large Image Storage Storage for 4,000-plus studies at 25 MB per study.
PACScomm Plus Storage for 15,000-plus studies at 25MB per study.
Dual CD/DVD Capability All systems include dual purpose CD/DVD recording drives, enabling operation with CDs for patients and physicians and DVDs for larger studies and image archival.
Network Design Multiple PACScomm units can be attached to client network, enabling any image to be recorded at any location.
External Study Access Current and historic studies stored on external DICOM archives or PACS can be seamlessly accessed and recorded/distributed.
Structured Report Enables PACScomm to record diagnostic reports on CD/DVD along with related image studies.
Security Secure access includes password administration and individual permissions for each approved user.
HIPAA Conformance Permanent system and image distribution logs are generated and maintained.
Image Distribution Options Flexible image distribution system has the capability to record studies on CD/DVD media, push to approved network destinations, or download to approved remote workstations.
Recorded Media Formats CDs and DVDs produced by PACScomm are automatically recorded in single patient or multiple patient formats, depending on studies selected for recording.
Patient Data De-personalization Patient and study data can be eliminated from any recorded CD/DVD to protect patient privacy and support medical teaching and research.
Customized Disc Printing Print surface and splash screens on disc media can be customized with client logos for identification and promotional purposes.
Multiple Viewers Standard viewer is included to enable viewing by physicians and patients on standard PCs of CD/DVD media produced by the system.

Additional viewers can be installed and selected for individual discs to support specific applications.

Discs can also be produced without any viewer.
Auto Record Capability Accommodates applications requiring studies to be automatically recorded upon arrival at the PACScomm system.

Access to local or external studies for recording and distribution can also be simultaneously active.
CD Import DICOM studies recorded on other systems can be imported from any approved desktop location.

Includes ability to select studies to be imported and to edit patient and study information.
Store and Forward Enables DICOM studies to be automatically forwarded from PACScomm to another DICOM entity.
